Medford Tigers Varsity Boys Basketball team competed in a 4 team tournament in Maple Grove. Other teams included Fridley, Sebeka, and Heritage Christian.

The Tigers lost in a tough first game against Heritage Christian, but bounced back during their second game against Sebka, winning by 13.

The Tigers played their third and final game of the tournament against Fridley. They went into halftime tied. The boys played with great energy and fought hard to beat Fridley by 6.

Some amazing defense by Casey Chambers, great drives to the basket by Landon Driscoll, sharp shooting by Connor Jones, huge post play and rebounds by Weston Janke, important off the bench minutes by Cain Johannes, multiple and-one shots by Carter Bilitz, and finally, great leadership and scoring by Austin Erickson. Every member of this team played an important role in their Tournament win in Maple Grove today.

They played their hearts out and I am so proud of all of their hard work.
